President Paul Kagame visited Doha for a one-day working trip where he met Qatar’s ruler Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation.
The two countries have developed strong ties over the years, particularly in aviation, security, investment, and infrastructure development. One of the key joint projects is the ongoing construction of Bugesera International Airport in Rwanda.
According to officials, the discussions focused on strengthening economic partnerships and enhancing cooperation in sectors beneficial to both nations.
The leaders also shared views on regional and international affairs, expressing a common vision of supporting peace, security, and sustainable development.
