Paul Kagame and Mohamed Ould Ghazouani met in Kigali to discuss bilateral cooperation, African security challenges, and global issues affecting both nations.
Their discussions focused on peace and security concerns across Africa as well as areas of shared political and economic interest between Rwanda and Mauritania.
President Ghazouani is among leaders attending the Africa CEO Forum 2026, which begins on Thursday at Kigali Convention Centre.
The high-level forum will gather heads of state, private sector executives, and international development partners to explore ways of boosting investment and economic transformation in Africa.
