Village Urugwiro has announced that more than 25 African heads of state and government representatives are participating in the Africa-France Summit currently taking place in Nairobi, Kenya.
The summit was organized through a partnership between William Ruto and Emmanuel Macron and aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and France in innovation, investment, and economic development.
Rwanda is represented by President Paul Kagame and Foreign Affairs Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe.
Speaking on Monday, Nduhungirehe said the discussions will focus on innovation, economic growth, trade, and investment opportunities that could support Africa’s long-term development.
He emphasized that the summit seeks to promote partnerships based on shared interests and mutual benefits between African countries and France.
The event is taking place under the theme “Innovation and Growth.”
