Africans to Take Responsibility for the Continent’s Future

Speaking at a gathering of African and French business executives, Paul Kagame called on Africans to take charge of the continent’s destiny and stop relying on foreign nations to solve local problems.

The meeting focused on promoting eco-friendly industries and expanding access to clean energy solutions across Africa. Kagame acknowledged concerns about unfair global systems affecting the continent but stressed that responsibility for Africa’s progress ultimately lies with Africans themselves.

“Africa’s future will be built by Africans. No matter how influential a foreign leader may be, they cannot solve our problems better than we can,” Kagame stated.

He added that Africa’s long-term development will depend on stronger collaboration between governments, investors, and private companies.

The event followed the Africa Forward Summit, where African and French stakeholders discussed new partnerships aimed at boosting sustainable growth and industrial development across the continent.
