Fifteen innovative youth projects in Rwanda have been recognized for excellence in the sixth cohort of the iAccelerator program, a flagship initiative by Imbuto Foundation designed to promote youth-led innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event, held on October 10, 2025, showcased the progress of the top 15 projects and explored employment opportunities for young innovators. Out of 40 shortlisted projects, 10 received Rwf 10 million in funding and six months of training to help refine their solutions.

Impanuro Girls Initiative founder, Marie Ange Raissa Uwamungu, urged beneficiaries not to waste the opportunity, emphasizing that access to funding at an early stage is rare.
Céline Diana Bizimungu, co-founder of Kozzy Wellness, said her team used the grant to promote mental health awareness through youth workshops and community programs.
Imbuto Foundation CEO, Élodie Shami, noted that iAccelerator is more than a competition — it’s a movement to empower young Rwandans to become solution-oriented innovators.
Brave Ngabo, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth, praised the partnership, highlighting how it creates jobs and reduces unemployment.
Since its inception in 2016, iAccelerator has supported dozens of youth-led startups, offering funding, mentorship, and access to investors to help scale their impact across Rwanda.
