KIGALI – For Philemon, performing at The Ben’s “Plenty Love” concert in BK Arena was more than just a gig — it was a defining career milestone.
The singer admitted he could not sleep after the sound check. “Your body wants rest, but your heart keeps asking, ‘How will it go?’” he told InyaRwanda.
Philemon performed Amasomo, his remake with Uncle Austin, and was overwhelmed by the crowd’s reaction. “It showed me that our music reaches far, and it gave me stronger faith in my path,” he said.
The show was also his first close encounter with The Ben, who praised his song. “He told me he liked my music and was looking forward to my performance,” Philemon said with excitement.
