RwandAir has expanded its fleet with two Boeing 737-800 aircraft, each with a capacity of 174 passengers.
One plane arrived in early August and is already operating, while the second landed on August 27, 2025. The aircraft will serve short and medium-haul routes.
The national carrier also expects to add a fourth Airbus A330 before the year ends, as part of its broader strategy to make Kigali a leading aviation hub in Africa.
