Kigali, Rwanda <\/em>\u2014 Abakorerayesu Choir, one of Rwanda\u2019s most celebrated gospel choirs since 1992, has released a new version of the beloved song \u201cAritamurura\u201d<\/em> in a modern Live Recording<\/strong> format, more than eight years after it first touched the hearts of worshippers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally written by Joyeuse<\/strong>, the track has now been enriched with new arrangements by highly skilled gospel musicians. The audio production was handled by Nicholas<\/strong>, while the video was directed by Musinga<\/strong> and polished by Eddy Cuts<\/strong>. Recording and pre-mix were done at New Melody Industries<\/strong>, founded by Josue Shimwa<\/strong>, who also coached the singers. Sound engineering was managed by David<\/strong> and S-Janvier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why the remake?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to Mamille Mukangemanyi<\/strong>, the Choir\u2019s General Director, the decision to remake Aritamurura<\/em> came from the overwhelming love and continued demand for the song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

\u201cAritamurura<\/em> is a song that has been deeply loved by many people, and even today, they still request it. We decided to remake it in a modern Live Recording format so that it can continue to bless people in a fresh way,\u201d Mamille explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

She added that the new version includes richer instrumentals, a short Swahili message to reach a wider audience, and deeper emotional delivery from the choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message behind the song<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The choir highlights two main themes of Aritamurura<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Declaring the victory of Jesus Christ.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Comforting people by reminding them that Jesus has the power and authority to deliver them.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Renowned gospel artist Dominic Ashimwe<\/strong>, known for songs like Ashimwe<\/em>, Nemerewe Kwinjira<\/em>, and Ntihinduka<\/em>, testified about how the song touched him, writing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cLet those with fearful hearts be at peace, let those who are troubled be still, for in the morning, He will deliver. Amen!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    The choir\u2019s mission and legacy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Founded in 1992, Abakorerayesu Choir has now spent 33 years<\/strong> spreading the gospel through music. They have written over 100 songs, including Nshingiye<\/em>, Yamfashe Ukuboko<\/em>, Dawidi<\/em>, Inyenyeli<\/em>, and Uri Imana y\u2019Icyubahiro<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Beyond singing, the choir is known for acts of compassion and charity, fulfilling the biblical call in Matthew 25:35: \u201cFor I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    They have also ministered internationally, including a 2015 mission in Tanzania that lasted a week, where over 80 people gave their lives to Christ and many others were strengthened in their faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Their heartfelt desire<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Mamille concluded with the choir\u2019s constant prayer and vision:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
