Organizers of the upcoming Niwe Healing Concert<\/em> have announced that the event has been postponed following requests from fans across the world \u2014 particularly those planning to travel from abroad \u2014 who needed more time to prepare and include it in their schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an official statement, they said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis decision was made after receiving numerous requests from people around the world who wanted the concert date moved, especially international attendees, to allow for better preparation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The highly anticipated concert will feature worship and praise music, serving as a special reunion between Richard Nick Ngendahayo and his long-time fans, marking his first performance in Rwanda in 15 years since moving to the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ngendahayo is widely known for faith-inspiring songs such as Mbwira Ibyo Ushaka<\/em>, Ibuka<\/em>, Gusimba Umwonga<\/em>, Si Umuhemu<\/em>, Yambaye Icyubahiro<\/em>, Wemere Ngushime<\/em>, Ijwi Rinyongorera<\/em>, Unyitayeho<\/em>, and Sinzakwitesha<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Rwanda\u2019s gospel music community, this event is seen as a rare moment to reconnect after many years and to share messages of encouragement and renewed faith. Organizers promise top-notch production, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, to give attendees an unforgettable worship experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why the Date Change Matters<\/strong>
Event organizers believe the date change will have a positive impact, enabling more people to travel to Kigali and ensuring a spiritually uplifting and well-attended concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haguma Natacha, Managing Director of Fill the Gap Limited, told the media that bringing Ngendahayo to Rwanda was not about secrecy or high costs but about timing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s God\u2019s timing! After 15 years of failed attempts to bring Richard to Kigali, we believe this is the right moment. When the time comes, everything falls into place \u2014 even if he were to come without payment.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Ngendahayo will arrive in Kigali ahead of the concert to meet the media and prepare. Before his arrival, he plans to release a new song and may unveil a new album during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Richard Nick Ngendahayo<\/strong>
Ngendahayo began his music career in the early 2000s, blending a gentle vocal style with deep, scripture-based messages. He gained fame through songs like Niwe<\/em>, Ibuka<\/em>, and Si Umuhemu<\/em>, often performing at national worship events and prayer gatherings. He was part of Rehoboth Ministries and was known for prioritizing ministry over material gain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010, he moved to the United States, continuing his ministry through music and preaching in various churches. Though absent from Rwanda\u2019s live music scene, his songs have remained impactful over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
