He emphasized that Rwanda\u2019s foreign relations are largely positive, with 47 embassies established worldwide, but condemned the Democratic Republic of Congo for violating peace agreements and fueling instability in the region by employing foreign mercenaries. He also accused the UN of failing to learn lessons from the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, pointing out its ongoing dealings with FDLR leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minister Nduhungirehe questioned whether some international actors \u201cwant Rwanda destroyed,\u201d insisting that the country must maintain strong defense strategies. His remarks were supported by ruling party officials, including FPR Secretary General Gasamagera Wellars, who said the EU resolution undermines Rwanda\u2019s sovereignty.
